The Blender Bottle Sport Mixer is the best shaker bottle by design thus far! Improves upon the previous model in all ways possible. A few points that really make this bottle stand out above the competition are:

For a while now I had been using the original BlenderBottle to mix my post-workout protein shake. It was very convenient and easy to use. The only real issue I had with it was that the plastic started to smell and taste funky, especially if I wasn’t able to wash it out immediately. I looked for something like the BlenderBottle made of stainless steel or some other material that wouldn’t absorb flavors, but had no luck, unfortunately. When I saw this newer BlenderBottle, supposedly sporting “odor-resistant eastman tritan”, I had to give it a shot. So far so good- the funky tastes and odors don’t seem to be absorbed into the plastic at all. This newer model also looks a bit less goofy and the top is more secure (the older one leaked slightly when I shook it). The only issue I’ve found is that the dark tint of the plastic can make it a little bit hard to measure the volume of liquid in the bottle, but this isn’t a huge issue and overall I’m very happy with this product.
