Great taste! Great value! Low carb!,
Over the last 2-3 years I’ve purchase Body Fortress Super Advanced Whey Protein (BF WP) in various flavors. It didn’t taste that great but it was a cheap protein. After starting a lower carb eating plan, I noticed how many carbs & fat are in the “regular” BF WP. So I looked at the other options on the shelf & started comparing labels. Body Fortress Super Advanced Whey (BF WI) blew all the others away. The price was about only a couple dollars more but the comparison is awesome. The taste is awesome. Mixing only water, Vanilla Creme BF WI & PB2 tastes like a chicko-stick! 😉

Isolate far better than Body Fortress Whey Protein,
First let me make clear that Ive only been working out for a few months and the only prior protein Ive used was the Body Fortress Whey Protein. I saw excellent strength and muscle gains with the normal whey protein, however the cholesterol content in it was extremely high and it also caused me to get a little bloated and gassy but nothing I couldn’t live with. After finishing my second tub of the I had gained 10lbs and was looking more cut and leaner than I had been in a while. So when I went to walmart to purchase my third container, I noticed they had a new Whey Isolate product for only $4 more. I checked out the contents: hardly any cholesterol (only 2% of your DV,which is great), plus a higher content of protein, and much higher content of the all-important BCAA’s and other essential amino acids. There are less calories, calories from fat, carbs, and sodium versus the normal Whey Protein from this company. After two weeks of using the isolate, I dont plan on going back. The quality of the powder is much better and more refined, and it tastes great (especially with milk). It has also not caused any bloating or gas problems. This product is great for its price, and worth the $4 upgrade. I do plan on trying other brands in the near future just to make sure I’m not being biased, but for now this stuff is working great and I’ll definitely be back for more.

Generally, very good…,
…but needs to drop the carrageenan. I wanted to like this. It mixes well. The taste is good, and not too sweet. A good overall value. However, I’ve been reading some unpleasant things about carrageenan, an additive used for product texture and consistency. Based on what I’ve been reading, I’ve decided to eliminate products containing carrageenan whenever I can. This product contains carrageenan. It’s pretty far down in the ingredient list so I’m not entirely sure how much of a problem it may be. However, I’ll keep looking for a whey isolate that doesn’t have any.
