My friend recommended I give FLOW a try. I’ve tried several popular pre-workout supplements (N.O.-Xplode, C4 Extreme, Assault, NO2 Red Hemo Surge, N.O. Fury, etc…). FLOW is definitely different from the pre-workout supplements I’ve tried in the sense that it’s a product that satisfies a different market. WHAT DO I USE FLOW FOR?
Currently I’m not on a traditional training regiment, so I’m not really lifting weights and I don’t have need for a massive pump or crack-head-like stimulation. I’ve used FLOW during bboy practice, while working on art projects, bouldering, and recreationally just going out. My experience with FLOW has been quite positive. There’s enough caffeine to pick me up a little when I’m dragging during practice and the mix of vitamins, herbs, and nutrients puts me in a zone-type state. I would personally describe the feeling while on FLOW as one of settled nerves and relaxation, the feeling that you get when you go into competition confident knowing that you have a game plan and can let your body rip while your mind just sits back and enjoys the show.
GENERAL INFORMATION
Like I mentioned above, there’s not an irregular amount of caffeine (35mg) compared to an 8oz cup of coffee (108mg), 8.46oz Red Bull (80mg), or 5 Hour Energy (138mg). As far as pill size goes, I’ve heard friends say, “wow that’s huge” but in length comparison to the GNC Triple Strength Fish Oil pill (26.5mm) and the GNC Mega Men Sport multi-vitamin (22.7mm), a FLOW pill comes in at 23.3mm – not bad. Price seems pretty comparable to other premium pre-workout supplements considering there are 30 servings in a bottle. NOTE: my girlfriend took one serving, two pills, and she is a little over 100 pounds. If you’re a lighter person I suggest that you try just one pill first because my girlfriend felt the effects intensely with two pills and didn’t enjoy that as much.
LASTLY
I would suggest FLOW to those that may have pre-competition anxiety, that may benefit from a zone-like state of activity, or those that would like a little pick me up for practice or workouts here and there that won’t give you the jitters or a stomach ache. You may want to look for something else if you’re looking for something that’s going to work similar to creatine or nitric oxide. This is a great product that doesn’t over stimulate the body and really makes you feel like you’re firing your neurons, so if you’re looking for a new supplement to try and you’re liking what you hear, give it a try!
