Not for everyone.., September 26, 2010

I’ve been drinking protein shakes for about 10 years now, and I gotta say, nothing has made my belly react the way it does when i drink this stuff. The taste is ok, considering they use sucralose as their choice of sweetener – but i think they use too much; which may be the reason why I get upset stomachs. This is coming from a person who has eaten just about everything; oriental street food to fruits grown in countries where you probably shouldn’t drink the water.

Personally I would suggest to everyone to start moving to protein drinks that use real sugar, and not sweeteners. There are only a handful out there though so i could see where the convenience of just hitting up the local GNC, where they don’t carry naturally sweetened products, could present a problem. I will fore warn you not to get this product for the sake of feeling bloated and hitting up the john every 20 minutes. My suggestion would be to get some packets and sample with friends a couple time and see how you react to it..

overall though i can’t really even give it a average rating since it contain Sucralose and Soy, that and I’ve had better tasting products that didn’t make me feel awkward.

Not sure what the previous reviewer was talking about. I’ve been drinking this for years and haven’t had any stomach problems from it… plus I use milk. I make shakes for friends all the time and my girlfriend swears by this stuff. Never heard of a problem from it. For those who use milk instead of water for protein shakes, I’ve tried them all and this is my favorite tasting, particularly if you add peanut butter and a banana. As for the sweetener, if you don’t mind sucralose, I strongly recommend this, but if you want an all-natural alternative, you should probably move on.

This protein isn’t bad. It’s too soon to tell what type of results it’s going to produce and since I only bought a bag of 14 servings, It’ll be impossible to tell how ell it works. I got this because I’m waiting on an order of my ON Gold Standard Whey protein that hasn’t arrived yet. I picked this up at my local gnc not knowing what to expect. I figured some protein powder was better than none. All I can say that the taste is ok and it actually modes pretty well. I got the chocolate. And it didn’t make me bloated or gassy, which for me is a sure sign that that a protein is crappy quality. IMO gold standard whey or even muscle pharm protein is a lot better especially the ON brand considering they manufacture their own protein and don’t have an outside company do it for them. I don’t work for them I just really like their products and would recommend then to people who are trying to step up their fitness game and see some serious results. But if you’re not to serious then I guess this a good buy. Keep in mind that this is a supplement to your diet that should be balanced and diverse. Most of your protein intake should come from actual food. But since protein is such a staple supplement in your workout regimen, them you should definitely check out he above products I’ve mentioned.
