JYM Protein Blend with Whey, Casein and Egg Proteins, Chocolate Mousse - 4 Pounds

  • BLENDS ARE BEST: Scientific studies have shown that a blend of whey, casein and egg proteins (the three types contained in Pro JYM) is considerably better for maximizing muscle-building than whey protein alone. With “100% whey” powders, you’re getting shortchanged.
  • GREAT TASTING: No other protein powder surpasses the great taste and thick texture you get with Pro JYM. It tastes great whether you mix it in water, milk, almond milk or other preferred liquid. Add other ingredients like fruit or peanut or almond butter for an on-the-go, delicious high-protein smoothie.
  • PERFECT RATIO: Pro JYM contains the ideal ratio of the three types of protein shown to be most effective in clinical research: 50% casein, 40% whey and 10% egg protein.
  • NO SPIKING: Protein spiking has become an epidemic in the supplement industry, where companies include cheap amino acids that increase nitrogen levels and produce an inaccurate protein count. With Pro JYM, you get 24 grams of whole proteins in every scoop – just like it says on the label.
  • SUPERIOR QUALITY: Pro JYM contains only the highest quality whey protein isolate, micellar casein, milk protein isolate and egg albumin – as opposed to the cheaper, lower grade sources you’ll find in other protein powders.

Supported Goals: Muscle Growth, Strength   What it is: The perfect blend of three of the most effective types of proteins for building muscle: whey, micellar casein and egg protein. These three types of protein are absorbed in the body at varying rates of speed – whey extremely fast, casein very slowly, and egg at a “medium” pace. This is exactly how you want your protein to act both before and after workouts to ensure that the muscles get an immediate supply of amino acids (the building

Good product but the new flavors aren’t as tasty as the old ones. I hope Jym brings back Cookie Crunch and S’Mores. I was hoping Mint Chocolate chip would be like Cookie Crunch but it’s not. It’s a odd tasting chalky mint that turns from white to green when you mix it. I also don’t like the fact that Jym has switched to a coconut based creamer, I can tell the difference and the old creamer was better tasting.

I got the Caramel Machiatto and I am going to purchase another one as I am almost out. I purchased this to be a snack replacement and it was the best choice. I was looking for a protein that tasted good on water (as I take it at my workplace) and with a low cholesterol percentage. This does the job, it has great taste with water or almond milk. I sometimes add a little bit of ground coffee (not instant) to give that full starbucks flavor.

With great taste comes some fillers so if you are looking for the purest protein powder with no additives this is not for you.

I recently purchased my second can of this product. I started using it on the recommendation of a friend because I recently started lifting weights. The chocolate mousse flavor is very good and the protein shakes made with almond milk fill me up after a hard workout. My only complaint is that the sucralose leaves a slightly chemical aftertaste. Drink it very cold and you won’t notice.
