Seems like a decent multivitamin – but hard to get the kids to take . . ., March 4, 2013

The serving size is SIX (6) capsules. No child will swallow six capsules. I have to open and sprinkle each capsule over applesauce (or something similar) and stir it in to feed these to the kids. I have 3 children. That’s 18 capsules a day. My fingers are cramping!! I wish there was a similar vitamin with the Methylcobalamin B12 and the methylfolate that doesn’t require so much trouble to administer. Overall happy with the children’s response (we have MTHFR so these vitamins are VITAL), but getting the kids to take them is a MAJOR PAIN.

Selected this multivitamin because of MTHFR issues and it does not has as many herbs as the adult formula. It also does not have iron, which is a plus for me. I can take that separately if needed but have full control of the amount. No problems at all during the month and a half I have been taking them so I would recommend them for those that need a multivitamin but cannot process regular folic acid.

I got this for my boys because it has the higher B vitamins and no folic acid. The only difficult part is its 6 pills for kids to take. My 8 year old takes 3 in the morning and 3 at night, but I can’t get my 4 year old to take them. To big, plus he can’t swallow pills yet. I tried giving it to him in yogurt and tried just 3-4 pills as there is a lot of substance and he didn’t like it… Great product, will continue buying it for my eight year old, may need to get the waffers for my 4 year old. He would prefer gummies though. Thank you Dr. Lynch for all your continued research and focus into improving our health!
