Great Post/Nighttime Recovery Shake,
First I would like to say that this product is easy to drink, I used a regular 16oz water bottle and it
was easy to mix. Did not upset stomach. If you prepare or buy hot chocolate with water this is the
type of taste this product has which to me is ok. I would recommend this product but for me I would
prefer vanilla or strawberry if I’m going to be drinking it everyday.
The only Con I find is that the ingredients list seem to have a few preservatives and thickeners.
You can take 1 or 2 scoops but taking 2 scoops of this product lasted me about 3 weeks. I tried
taking it after a workout which I feel replenishes my energy and keeps me satiated until I prepare my
food to eat. I’ve also tried taking this product 2 hours before bedtime and I feel it does a better job
because I wake up less sleepy and more energized.
I did not feel that this product improved my recovery time. I was still sore for 3-5 days.
I received a full trail size from muscletech to try before its released so I don’t know the standard price.
But I feel this product will save me money because I usually buy pure creatine and glutamine alone
which is about $15 each and by muscletech adding it to this product I no longer need to buy them
separate.

What Ive been looking for…,
Part of me didnt want this to be as good as it is because every muscle mag is filled with ads for it and most times those who advertise most are just full of fluff. Well Muscletech came thru on this one. Ive ran most postworkout drinks and they are either filled with carbohydrates that make me carry extra calories, they have a bad taste/dont mix or are so expensive its not feasible. I have the vanilla, it taste awesome for a postworkoutdrink that includes carbs, the cherry tart adds a balance against the carb taste that i really enjoy, its got the carbs to replenish my depleted glycogen stores but not an excessive amount and the protein to aid in rebuilding and continuing the anabolic window. If your on the up and up you know that you need 20-30 grams every 2-3 hours to rebuild and build upon and one scoop gives you 20 grams of legit non plant based protein. At nite i drink this by itself but postworkout I mix this with musclepharm’s orange mango recon and it taste like an orange creamsicle popsicle. It doesnt bother my stomach and i can almost instantly feel the burn of a good workout being repaired. After 6 months of swapping and searching for my postworkout drink I finally found it with anabolic halo. Mix it with musclepharm’s orange mango recon and you’ll be blown away.
