there are 2 categories of collagen: (1) type 1 and type 3 (for skin) and (2) type 2 (for joints). The first category (type 1 and 3) you will notice is hydrolyzed collagen. It’s easier to absorb and digest and all the products I’ve seen at least are hydrolyzed. For the second category (type 2) there are unhydrolyzed and hydrolyzed supplements. This is unhydrolyzed. It’s cheaper but the particle size is like 60 something vs 3 something with hydrolyzed. This reduces availability and digestibility. But whatever it’s better than nothing I figured. I am not sensitive to pills AT ALL and shock people with how many and of different types I take (I’m into this stuff) so am surprising the non-digestibility of this literally made me vomit. I tried a different brand (Swanson) first and took 6 pills and woke up in the middle of the night, puked, felt better in the morning and concluded it was definitely the pills (felt bad after taking them). But in case it was something else, or just that brand, or just that batch bought these and tried again and only took 3 this time (it says take 4 to 6 on the back). I BARELY made it through the night and had a plastic bag next to me in case I didn’t make it. I’m switching to hydrolyzed type 2 collagen (Jarrow for example has this as it’s type 2 collagen). it’s more digestible and better absorbed but more expensive but all i can take. i was surprised given my experience with pills not to have seen this issue mentioned here so wanted to identify it.

My nails are growing my hair is growing on my head that is lol and my joints feel better then ever! I have tried so many supplements for bones. This one works the best! I totally love it!
Need to take it with some Vit. C whether orange juice or cranberry…or with vit.C itself. This helps utilize the Collagen even better! I will continue to purchase this product. I am on my second bottle. Only take 1 a day and now will start 2 a day and go from there. Still not even taking the full dose my nails and hair are growing like never before so much stronger! It is amazing! My joints feel so much better. Especially in my fingers and knees!! Yeah! Amazon you did it again! Please continue to have this product!
