Great portable protein boost,
These bars taste great, are lower in calories than many other protein bars, and are a good source of whey protein. Here are the nutritionals (subject to change) if you’re curious:

Good protein, okay taste,
These aren’t the best Pure Protein bar out there, but they’re decent and the two-pack value pack is a good deal. I don’t think I could eat a whole box of these, but I’m happy to buy singles every so often.
Like most protein bars, they are not a candy bar and, therefore, do not taste like one. They taste like a protein bar with a mild chocolatey taste that’s decent. They are pretty chewy, which I don’t always like. I like there to be a bit of a crunch in my bars so I don’t feel like I’m chomping on a gooey paste after a few bites. Some texture would be nice, but it’s understandable that they aren’t adding thinks like puffed rice or oats that could raise the carb count. Still, when a bar advertises itself as chocolate chip, I would like to sense actual chocolate chips in the food. I got maybe two or three at most.
Still, these aren’t bad. Their nutritional value is better than most bars I’ve seen. CLIF bars or other brands might taste better, but they’re guaranteed to have as much as 10x the sugar content. So, if you want to really slim down and just get a dose of protein, these are the best bars out there and you just have to compromise on the taste and texture.
