I’ve been hearing about the health benefits of apple vinegar for years, but have never really found in depth information on how best to reap those benefits. Until I picked up this book, that is. The author does a great job of listing and explaining all the ways you can use apple vinegar in your daily life to boost your health, loose weight and even clean naturally. To say that this book is informative is a massive understatement! This book literally tells you everything you ever wanted to know about the uses of apple vinegar in your daily life.

After a brief introduction, the book is then divided into several chapters each dealing with a different use for vinegar in the home. The ones I found most helpful were the chapters on weight loss (which was also the main reason I got this book, since summer is drawing near), and using vinegar to clean your house. I also never knew that apple vinegar could be used to remove odor from clothing, and I’m trying it the very next time I do my laundry.

Overall, I highly recommend this book, since it is a wonderful and comprehensive guide on all the possible uses of apple vinegar.

The book contains many interesting ideas and facts. However, the book could stand better organization. The recipe for Vinegar pie is in the book twice, in two different locations. Reading was confusing as topics are often mixed up. Early in the book, the author claims there are three types of vinegar used in making pickles but mentions only two of them. Under the title, “This Makes an Excellent Sweet and Sour Pickle” is a recipe for pickled eggs. Some topics or recipes need more explanation. For instance, in Location 610, the author says “Avoid the oily taste in food cooked in a deep fryer with the addition of a dash of vinegar.” Yet, there is no instructions as to where that vinegar is to be added – do you add the vinegar to the deep fryer or put on the food before or after it is fried?
