I hate to give this one star, but they are failing to disclose that one or more of the supplements are impacted by substances relating to CA Prop 65 — things like lead and other heavy metals.

When you order this kit, the notice comes packaged inside the kit, but you are given no advanced notice on Amazon. Had I known that one or more of the items contains lead at a level that requires consumer notification, I would have purchased a different kit.

I emailed the company to the address where they handle regulatory related requests, and basically got standard legal boilerplate and they would not tell me which supplements are impacted. They basically dodge the issue every time someone asks them about it, talking about spinach, but not disclosing the actual levels of lead so that we can make an informed decision.

So in summary, get the kit without the supplements.

I’ve emailed them to ask for a refund of the portion of the price relating to the supplements. Should that occur, I will appropriately revise the rating upwards.
