    I’ve tried all three flavors – Coffee, Vanilla, and Dark Chocolate – and all three are AMAZING!

    Husband and I love these for breakfast in the morning to grab and go. There are days where I’ll do one for breakfast, one for lunch. They are on point with Macros – the best I’ve seen for a plant based shake. There is NO chalky taste and they are perfectly balanced in terms of sweetness. I can’t imagine making these any sweeter. If you’re used to eating cookies and sweets all day, you may be alarmed these don’t taste fake like some of the other options out there.

    I saw my grown son was drinking a soy-based protein drink, that also has canola oil and maltodextrin in it. None of those are healthy, so I set out to find him a better vegan protein drink; I knew it was important to him that it be plant-based. Glad to find OWYN. He prefers the flavor, and this protein drink is as clean as any I have found (except collagen protein drinks, but animal-based is a no-go for him.) It has sugar in it, but well within a 15-20 grams per day limit that is not too harmful. Because he uses it as a breakfast replacement, he would prefer more calories. That was his only complaint. I might have considered OWYN for myself but most natural practitioners I know of advise stearing clear of “natural flavors,” which turns out aren’t natural. (There is no legal definition for use of the word “natural” so it could be MSG or any number of things.) But he’s young and doesn’t have auto-immune or digestive issues and I’m satisfied that this is way better for him than anything else like it.

    I was hesitant to buy an entire case without trying one first, but was pleasantly surprised. I love trying new protein shakes when I find one that’s clean and allergy-friendly, and this one is easily one of my favorites. The texture is very smooth and satisfying, with no grit or weird aftertaste. I loved the mocha and will definitely be trying another flavor.
