    I’m on month 14 of eating clean, power lifting 5 days a week, and not using any kind of pre-workouts or suppliments. I wanted to get more out of my workout. I mean, this things got 2g of taurine AND 3 cups of coffee worth of caffeine per serving, of course this is gonna jack me up, but will it help my workout?
    Sweet baby Jesus it sure did help my workout. I doubled my usual amount of sets, and I added an additional 45 minutes of just going at it hard lifting like a gorilla. So long as I had the focus and desire to do the next set, this stuff gave me the power to just do set after set after set, each set feeling like my first. I’l re-review after I’ve used up my first full tub.

    On my second (most recent) order of Pre-Kaged, I discovered the omission of Capsimax from the formulation. What would have probably been a 4.5(rounded to 5 star) review is now a generous 3. Capsimax was a huge part of what I loved about Pre-Kaged, not only in the benefits of Capsimax but the spicy rush that actually enhances the preworkout experience. To top it off, the cost of the product hasn’t been adjusted following deletion of Capsimax from the formula. I’m pretty disappointed to say the least.

    I decided to try this out since it was 3rd party tested and I knew what I was getting, which is not the norm with most shady pre workouts. Energy levels are not out of hand but good enough to get me through 4am workouts. I like that it had good amounts of bcaa’s because I take it on a empty stomach. Had been going great until recent blood work showed I had too high of potassium levels. Normal ranges are 3.2 to 5.2 and I’m usually at 4.8 as I already eat lots of fruits and nuts and this time I tested at 5.5 which my doc said could put me at danger of arrhythmias. Doc said asked what had changed in my diet and couldn’t think of anything. She brought up how another patient had just had the same problem due to drinking a lot of coconut water. Well I start going through my supplements and I see pre kaged has 500 mg of coconut powder. I’m almost sure this is what causing my elevated levels. I’ll find out in about 1 1/2 months for sure. In the mean time if you have any liver or kidney problems I’d prob be careful when taking this supplement. If you don’t eat lots of potassium rich foods I’m guessing it would probably be ok if not beneficial.
