Taste- Like protein powder to me. No fish taste to me at all.
Solubility- Clumps, even when put in very hot coffee. However, when I put my liquid coffee creamer in my coffee, it completely dissolved after stirring.
Now here is the reason I gave it 5 stars. I have been suffering from an inability to bend toward my left leg when crossed in a figure 4 position. Excruciating pain in my left hip as I lean forward. I had piriformis syndrome in the left leg, that after chiropractor visits and glute rehab has subsided. Unfortunately the pain in the left hip did not go away and in some cases increased. Stretching seemed to make it worse. After about a week of taking the Marine Collagen, I started to feel less pain. I began to slowly by incrementally bend forward. As of today not even two weeks of taking this; I can sit in a chair, place my leg in a crossed figure 4 position and lean all the way forward. I can almost touch my chest to my leg with only mild discomfort. I can only imagine how the hip will feel after the entire product is done. I can now stretch again, move and exercise like I want. Really, who cares about clumping when this can happen.

UPDATE: so this is very very effective in helping my ligament and joint pain. Made a huge difference within a month and when I slacked off on using it the pain came right back. I also found that if I hold my nose and knock it back, I don’t taste anything. So I guess it is flavorless but the odor is overwhelmingly fishy. I’m almost done with the container and trying to decide if I should buy it again since it worked so well or try something else that is easier to drink.
UPDATE #2: after being on it again for a while I suddenly noticed that the deep lines between my eyebrows have smoothed out a whole lot! It’s like I got Botox. I wish I’d taken a “before” picture now because I can’t believe how much it’s smoothed out. I keep running my finger across it because it feels like someone else’s forehead! I was not expecting the “anti aging” skin benefits, I was only taking it for joint pain. But the difference is truly noticeable! I bought another container of this. the unpleasant smell is worth having a product that really does work! I added a photo to show the before and after the lines between my eyebrows.
