I feel the author did a good job providing PROVEN information. I did note a few typos along the way which I can get over for a free book. What irritated me and caused me to give this book a higher rating was a sense he book was trying to sell me something and the shameless self promotion repeated over and over throughout the read. Shady Supplement Inc isn’t the only one trying to sell you something.

If you been lifting for any amount of time you have been burnt by some “miracle supplement” that was supposed to make you bigger, stronger, or faster but instead it left you low on funds. This book is a good quick reference to educate you in a non bias opinion on what is really effective. If you take supplements at all I recommend giving this book a glance.

As a bodybuilder and supplements user, I’m amazed by the amount of misleading information out there, even from some respected muscle magazines. This book is written by someone who has been in the trenches like some of us (and with some us) and offers some useful insights about not only the sports nutrition industry, but the fitness industry in general.
